Moody Fall Wedding: Part II

Part II IS HERE! I want to tell you a little story. When I first got my camera I took a senior to the railroad tracks, put her in awful poses that were not flattering at all, went home, slapped some action in photo shop on it, and called it a day. Oh my, how much has changed! I should really put that picture at the bottom of this post, but it's super embarrassing. I mean you have to start somewhere right?! This right here. This. This is the work I've always wanted to create. It was always what I've had in mind of what I want my work to look like. And with this shoot I finally felt progression!! (tiny dance party) I felt so in my element, the models were completely themselves. Being goofy and lovey and back to goofy. I was LOVIN' IT! I swear the flower crown from Plant Peddler was made for Lacey, even though it probably put a kink in her neck cause it was so big haha! Huge thanks to all of our amazing vendors that came together to make this happen. And making our pinterest dreams come true. Thanks for supporting my teeny tiny little business, even if its just liking a picture I post.
Are you still reading?? Thank you if you are. I'm done, now I'll go back to being my weirdo-self because I know when I'm serious it makes people uncomfortable. (insert emoji that I can't insert).
Now go get your kids' Halloween candy and scroll through this post.
xoxo

Moody Fall Wedding: Part I

I left this shoot so inspired and SO tired! I'm going to be honest, I was super worried this shoot wasn't going to come together, but IT DID. Down to the very last minute vendor, this was our Pinterest board dream! It was so much fun getting to hang out with 3 other photographers along with watching the most perfect newly wed love on each other. Our models, Lacey and Taylor were so easy to capture, we posed them a handful of times and let them do the rest! Tia and Sarita worked their magic with hair and makeup and let me just tell you, Lacey was glowing!!! I died and came back to life when I saw the floral from Plant Peddler, they truly made our vision come to life with the deep reds and dark greens with a pop of white. It matched the not one, but THREE naked cakes from Graceful Baker (heart eyes everywhere). The invites from Honey Paper Co. were a small and huge detail that brought everything together. Pedals and Promises delivered a low back, lacy gown that tied our fall theme in just right. DRUM ROLL PLEASE......PART NUMBER I EVERYONE. (I couldn't just do one blog post, ok?)

Taylor / Maternity

You better believe I had 2.1 million questions for Taylor on our drive up to this spot, we are only TWO weeks apart. It's always so fun to talk with someone that's so close in pregnancy as you, we relate so much! We were both huffing and puffing walking up and down hills to get to a couple of spots, we were cracking up. I'm glad someone is in the same boat as I am! This shoot was exactly how I pictured, moody, greenery, raw, simple. Everything. I love finding my style even more and more with each shoot.
